Terms and conditions
Sales Agreement
All products, services and prices shown in our online shop do not constitute legally binding offers. Once you enter all of the personal contact information and click the "order now" button on the order confirmation page, the order will be considered legally binding.
You will receive order confirmation immediately after the order process has been completed. The order confirmation and payment confirmation emails do not constitute acceptance of the order. The sales agreement is only considered valid once the goods have been dispatched and a delivery confirmation has been sent.
If you do not receive order confirmation or the delivery within two weeks, you are legally no longer bound to your purchase.
Delivery Terms
Please read our delivery information carefully. We cannot be held liable if goods or services are not delivered within estimated timeframes, and we do not offer any guarantees on delivery time unless explicitly stated in writing.
Any delivery dates or timeframes provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Goods are deemed lost if no delivery attempt remains within 7 days after the maximum timeframe of the particular postal service. You may at this point choose a full refund of the original purchase price. If you prefer to use the refund to re-order, it will be at our discretion whether to re-send.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery information supplied at checkout is accurate and complete. Any costs incurred due to incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, refused delivery, failure to respond to the courier, or parcels not collected from collection points within the courier’s specified timeframe may be chargeable to the customer or deducted from any refund due.
Some of our couriers may text or email you to give you the option to leave the parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour. If you choose this option then you become liable for the package’s safety from that point onwards. The courier may allow you to specify a custom safe place location, but this is advisory only and the driver may leave it elsewhere on your property, so please be careful when using this option.
International Customers Outside of the UK
Please be aware that local customs rules vary between countries and it is the buyer’s responsibility to understand and comply with all import requirements applicable in their country before placing an order.
Import VAT, customs duties, brokerage fees, clearance fees, handling charges, storage fees and any other import-related costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included within the product or shipping price unless explicitly stated otherwise.
The shipping company or customs authority may contact the buyer directly to request additional information, documentation, authorisation or payment in order to complete customs clearance. Failure to respond promptly may result in delays, return of the shipment, destruction of the shipment, or additional charges.
If a customer refuses delivery, fails to complete customs clearance, fails to provide requested documentation, fails to pay import charges, or otherwise causes the shipment to be returned, abandoned or destroyed, the customer remains fully liable for all resulting costs incurred by ReversingCamerasUK Ltd. This may include return shipping charges, storage fees, customs handling charges, disposal fees, import duties, taxes and courier administration charges.
Where a shipment is returned to us or destroyed due to non-response or refusal by the recipient, any refund issued will be reduced by all costs incurred by ReversingCamerasUK Ltd. If the incurred costs exceed the value of the goods, no refund will be payable.
We reserve the right to deduct any such costs from refunds due or invoice the customer separately where applicable.
Important Information for Business Customers in Northern Ireland
If you are a business based in Northern Ireland placing an order with us, please note the following:
Due to customs requirements under the Windsor Framework, we may need additional information to ensure smooth delivery of your order. If the total value of your order exceeds £135 and is being sent to a business address in Northern Ireland, we ask that you include the following in the Customer Notes section on the final page of checkout:
- Your EORI number starting with “XI”
- Your UK Internal Market Scheme (UKIMS) authorisation number, if applicable
Providing this information helps avoid potential customs delays or charges. Where this information is not supplied and your goods are assessed as being “at risk” of moving into the EU, import duties may be charged upon arrival.
Failure to provide these details may result in your parcel being held by customs and you, as the recipient, being charged EU duty tax upon delivery. We strongly recommend ensuring this information is included at the time of order to avoid unnecessary delays or additional charges.
We continue to charge UK VAT at checkout for deliveries to Northern Ireland.
If you are a private individual rather than a business, you do not need to enter anything, but please be aware that your delivery may be subject to duty or tax if above £135 excluding VAT.
Retention of Title
The goods delivered remain our property until full payment has been received.
Cancellation Rights
You may withdraw from the sale within 60 days without any justification, as long as you send your cancellation in writing by letter or email, or if you return the goods to us.
If you are a professional buyer or freelancer, the current statutory provisions for the return of goods shall apply.
The timeframe for the return of goods begins once you have received the goods. Your cancellation request will be considered to have been submitted on time if your written notification or the goods are sent back within the timeframe mentioned above.
Returned goods must be complete, in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition unless being returned due to a confirmed fault.
We reserve the right to make deductions from refunds where returned items show signs of installation, use, damage, missing components, damaged packaging or handling beyond what would reasonably be expected when inspecting the goods.
Custom-made, modified, special-order or made-to-order items may not be eligible for cancellation or return unless faulty.
Our address for returning items is:
ReversingCamerasUK Ltd
Unit 98, The Oaks Ind Est
Ramsgate

Faults
Please contact us either by phone or email if you encounter a problem. Most issues can be resolved by a phone call or email discussion. We test stock prior to dispatch, so the chances of an item being faulty from the start are very low.
The guarantee period is as follows:
- 2 years on all products except products labelled budget, end of line or clearance.
- 1 year on budget, end of line and clearance models.
We will either replace or repair any part that has a confirmed fault that was not caused by customer damage, negligence, incorrect fitting, incorrect wiring, improper voltage supply, modification, misuse or water ingress caused during installation.
If we suspect that the fault was caused by any of the above, we will not be liable to replace the part.
If we need to send you a replacement part under the guarantee, this will be to either a UK address or the original supply address if we originally dispatched the item abroad. If you purchase an item and subsequently take it to another country, we will not be expected to send replacement parts to that country. We will, of course, work with you to try and get the situation remedied where possible, for example if you have a UK-based friend or forwarder that we can dispatch to instead.
Compatibility with third-party equipment, factory-fitted systems, aftermarket stereos, monitors, mobile devices or vehicle electronics cannot always be guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed in writing prior to purchase.
Where advice is provided regarding compatibility, installation or wiring, this advice is given in good faith based on the information available at the time. Final responsibility for verifying compatibility and safe installation rests with the installer or vehicle owner.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are installed by suitably qualified persons where appropriate. ReversingCamerasUK Ltd accepts no liability for damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect wiring, improper voltage supply, modification of products, or failure to follow supplied instructions.
We are not liable for consequential loss, disappointment, labour costs, fitting costs, garage charges, loss of earnings, travel expenses or other indirect damage in relation to your order and will not pay compensation over and above the refund for the cost of the goods and/or services supplied.
This does not affect your statutory rights under consumer law or any liability we may have for death or personal injury due to our negligence.
If we give advice verbally or via written instructions, it is important that you balance that advice from other sources. Any advice we give will be fairly general and, as such, liability rests with the person carrying out the actual fitting for any damage that may occur. Modern vehicles contain complex computerised systems and damage to them can be expensive. Our strongest advice is to leave any electrical work to suitably qualified professionals.
Damage During Transit
All parcels are inspected and securely packaged before dispatch, but damage can occasionally occur in transit. If your order arrives with visible packaging damage or the contents appear affected, for example a monitor screen cracked or LCD display damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
We will normally request clear photos of the packaging, the shipping label and the damaged item to assist with a courier claim. Please keep all packaging until the matter is resolved, as the courier may require it for inspection.
Once the evidence is reviewed, we will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. Damage reported after the 7-day period may not be eligible for compensation.
Any shortages, missing items or incorrect items supplied must also be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Pricing Errors and Technical Issues
While we make every effort to ensure pricing, descriptions, images and product information are accurate, errors can occasionally occur.
In the event of an obvious pricing mistake, product description error, technical issue, website malfunction, software fault, third-party integration problem or typographical error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund prior to dispatch, even if an order confirmation or payment confirmation has already been sent.
If an item is incorrectly priced due to human error, software issue, website malfunction, VAT miscalculation, currency conversion issue or similar technical fault, we are under no obligation to supply the goods at the incorrect price.
Our Rights to Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to situations involving stock errors, pricing errors, technical faults, suspected fraud, export restrictions, courier limitations, address verification concerns or other operational issues.
The order completed email does not indicate that your order has been accepted. It purely means your payment has been accepted and your order will be processed by a member of the team shortly.
